Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 5:01 pm, Deputies responded to the N9500 York Valley Rd., Town of York, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries.  The investigation found Jackson T. Julien, 22, of New Glarus, was traveling northbound when his vehicle lost traction and entered the east shoulder of the roadway where it collided with a metal post, and came to rest in the east ditch.  Jackson reported being uninjured and wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident.  Jackson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and remained on scene to be removed at a later time. 

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 11:03 pm, Deputies responded to the W6900 Block of STH 81, Town of Monroe, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries.  The investigation found Adrionna Ubersox, 17, of South Wayne, was traveling westbound, when her vehicle went off the roadway and entered the ditch colliding with a fence.  Ubersox reported being uninjured and wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident.  Ubersox’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.

The following events occurred on December 29, 2025:

Warrant Arrest

At 4:06 AM, Deputies observed an abandoned vehicle in the W7500 block of CTH B, Town of Cadiz.   Deputies made contact with the owner, Kyle Smith, 37, of Browntown, who arrived on scene. Deputies arrested Smith due to an active warrant and was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage

At 5:05 AM, Deputies responded to the W6400 block of Vogel Rd., Town of Monroe for a single vehicle crash with no injuries.  The investigation found that the driver, Caitlin L. Robinson, 37, of Monroe, was traveling eastbound when she struck a tree in the roadway.  Robinson reported that she was uninjured and wearing her seatbelt at the time of incident.  Robinson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  

Motor Vehicle Crash-Property Damage

At 1:47 PM, Deputies responded to he N6500 block of Holstein Prairie Rd., in the Town of Adams.   The investigation found that the driver, Delaney C. Snyder, 19, of Monticello, was traveling southbound when she lost control of her vehicle, striking a road sign, and coming to rest in the west ditch.  Snyder reported that she was uninjured and wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident.  Snyder’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.

DRUG/NARCOTIC VIOLATION:

At approximately 6:17 PM, Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the W200 block of State Highway 81, Town of Spring Grove, for a speeding violation.

Investigations resulted in the driver, Lawrence B Townsend, 45, of Monroe, being cited for possession of marijuana, possession of illegal drug paraphernalia, and operating without a valid license. 

Townsend was released pending a future court date.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT:

At approximately 8:28 PM, Deputies responded to a residence in the N1400 block of Brunkow Rd, Town of Jefferson, for a report of disorderly conduct.

As a result of the investigation Brian M Schwartz, 43, of Juda, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Schwartz was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending the posting of bond or an initial court appearance.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 6:56 AM, Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash with no injuries, in the W3700 block of CTH C, Town of Mt. Pleasant.   Shane C. Eddy, 48 of Monroe, was traveling east bound when he lost control due to icy roads, trying to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle entered the south ditch, struck the embankment and came to rest on the passenger side.  Eddy reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.   The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment,  and was towed from the scene.

OWI:

At 12:49 PM, Deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in the N8700 block of Badger Road, in the Town of York.  Gregory G. Jepsen, 65, Blanchardville, was traveling southbound, when he lost control of his vehicle.  The vehicle exited the roadway to the west and collided with an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn.  The vehicle came to rest on its roof.  Jepsen reported not wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Jepsen was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st-Alcohol). Jepsen was further cited for Operating With a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (1st), Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was released to a responsible party pending a court appearance.

Operating While under the Influence

At 10:10 PM, Deputies responded to the W9300 block of STH 81, in the Town of Adams, for a reported vehicle in the ditch.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Jose Alberto Paulino Ortiz, 31, of Darlington, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Paulino Ortiz was additionally cited for Operating without a Valid Driver’s License and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration.   Paulino Ortiz was later released to a responsible person pending court.

Operating While under the Influence

At 4:51 PM, Deputies responded to the parking lot of the Green County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic complaint of a vehicle that stopped at the Sheriff’s Office.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Jayden P. Diaz Barnett, 28, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.   Diaz Barnett was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration.  Diaz Barnett was later released to a responsible person pending court. 

Criminal Arrest

At 5:02 PM, Deputies responded to the N8100 block of Zentner Rd., in the Town of New Glarus, for a reported suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway.  Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the driver, Lucas C. Williams, 28, of Blanchardville, who later fled from the scene.  Deputies initiated a pursuit and shortly after Williams lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, where the vehicle overturned and then came to a rest.  Williams advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was later transported to the hospital for further medical care.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  The investigation resulted in Williams being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence (4^th Offense), Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.  Williams was later incarcerated at the Green County jail pending court.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 7:14 AM, deputies responded to the N6300 block of English Settlement Road, Town of Albany, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries.  Renee A. Jordan, 68, Argyle, was traveling eastbound on Dunphy Road.  Jordan reportedly attempted to turn northbound onto English Settlement Road, when she lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions.  The vehicle then entered the east ditch and collided with a road sign. Jordan reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained minor damage with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.

Warrant Arrest:

12:29 AM, deputies arrested Aron A. Hogan, 45, Browntown, for a Department of Corrections warrant in the 100 block of Old Highway Rd, Town of Cadiz.  Hogan was transported to, and jailed at the Green County Jail.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 7:35 AM, deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the 400 block of 6th Ave, Village of New Glarus.  Emily A Freiberg, 28, New Glarus, was eastbound on 6th Ave when she lost control and struck a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle on the South side of the roadway belonging to Rusty J Kalscheur, 46, New Glarus.

Freiberg and her juvenile passenger reported being properly restrained and were uninjured.  Krieberg’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment.  It was towed from the scene. Kalscheur's vehicle  remained on scene.  Freiberg was cited for tread depth less than 2/32 of an inch, and released with a court date.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 7:52 AM, deputies responded to a crash in the W4700 block of STH 59, Town of Sylvester.  Robert Witt, 51, Monroe, reported that he was eastbound when he lost control and exited the south side of the highway where it struck a ditch and a culvert, and a fence.  Witt reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.  

Witt was cited for Failure to Maintain Control, and Failure to Notify Police of an Accident.  Witt was released pending a court date.

Mahlkuch, 25, Whitewater, was traveling westbound when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with the north ditch. Mahlkuch reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment, and remained on scene pending removal from the ditch.

At 3:58 PM, Deputies responded to the Green County Probation & Parole Office where Darren J. Lange, 27, of Albany, was placed under arrest for a Probation Hold.  Lange was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 7:15 AM, Deputies responded to the W5200 block of CTH KK, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported single vehicle crash with no injury.   The investigation found that Jason J. Rohda, 44, of East Troy, was driving westbound when he lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions.  Rohda traveled across the road and into the south shoulder, where he struck a mailbox and then entered the ditch.  Rohda advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and remained on scene to be removed at a later time.  

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 8:58 AM, Deputies responded to the W5600 block of CTH C, in the Town of Washington, for a reported single vehicle crash with no injury.   The investigation found that Melvin U. Rodriguez, 33, of Monticello, was traveling westbound negotiating a curve when he lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions.  Rodriguez traveled into the south shoulder, where he struck a mailbox then entered the ditch.  Rodriguez advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  Rodriguez’s vehicle sustained functional damage, with no airbag deployment, and was left on scene to be removed at a later time.  

Operating While under the Influence

At 10:58 PM, Deputies responded to the W6300 block of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported wrong way driver.  Deputies later located the reported vehicle in the ditch.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Joni M. Klinge-West, 48, of Elroy, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Klinge-West was additionally cited for Driving the Wrong Way on a Divided Highway.  Klinge-West was later released to a responsible person pending court.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 1:36 PM, Deputies along with Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries in the W1700 block of State Highway 11, Town of Spring Grove. Pamela M. Huseman, 65, Brodhead, was traveling eastbound, when she entered the westbound lane of travel and collided with a westbound vehicle operated by Christine L. Scharrschmidt, 72, Brodhead. 

Huseman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Huseman reported no seatbelt usage, and the vehicle airbags deployed. Huseman's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Scharrschmidt sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.  Scharrschmidt reported wearing her seatbelt, and the vehicle airbags deployed. Scharrschmidt's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Huseman was cited for Operating Left of Center, and released pending a court date.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 4:16 PM, Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash in the W4700 block of CTH W, Town of Exeter. Claire M Hodel, 25, New Glarus, was westbound and preparing to turn into a driveway when her vehicle was rear ended by another westbound vehicle operated by Justina M Sonnenburg, 34, Belleville.  Hodel reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  Hodel’s vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.  Sonnenburg reported wearing her seatbelt and sustained a non-life threatening injury.   Sonnenburg’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 4:17 AM, Deputies responded to the 700 block of S. Mechanic St., in the Village of Albany, for a one vehicle crash.  The vehicle was later located unoccupied.   The investigation found that the driver, Tanner G. Keppers, 32, of Brodhead, was traveling south when he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway.  Tanner advised that he then lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, where the vehicle overturned and then came to a rest.   Keppers advised that he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of incident and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. 

Operating While under the Influence

At 9:40 PM, Deputies responded to the 300 block of STH 69, in the Village of New Glarus, for a reported vehicle in the ditch.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Jeremy N. Jacobson, 44, of New Glarus, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Jacobson was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (greater than .15) and Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle.   Jacobson was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

Operating While under the Influence

At 4:06 AM, Deputies conducted a welfare check on a vehicle in the ditch in the W8900 block of STH 11, in the Town of Cadiz.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Juan R. Sequeira Fernandez, 24, of Shullsburg, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence, Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device, and an active warrant for his arrest.  Sequeira Fernandez was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

Operate While Intoxicated:

At 7:33 PM, Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense in the W5600 block of CTH C, Town of Washington.  An investigation resulted in the arrest of Diane K Bidlingmaier, 77, Monticello for OWI 1st offense - alcohol.  She was cited for Operate Left of Center Line and Prohibited Alcohol Concentration 1st offense.  Diane was released to a responsible party pending a court appearance.

At 8:20 AM, Deputies responded to the W1100 block of CTH F, Town of Decatur, for a single vehicle crash.  Max P. Mcloud, 18, Brodhead, was traveling westbound when he lost control due the snowy road conditions.  The vehicle collided with the north ditch and came to rest.  Mcloud reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained functional damage with airbag deployment.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 8:31 AM, Deputies responded to the W9100 block of STH 81, in the Town of Jordan, for a one vehicle crash.  The investigation found that a vehicle driven by Cody J. Langmeier, 33, of Argyle, was traveling westbound on STH 81 negotiating a curve when the vehicle lost traction and he lost control of it.  The vehicle then traveled down an embankment, struck a power pole, and then a tree before coming to a rest.  Langmeier advised he was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injury.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. 

Probation/Parole Violation

At 1:04 PM, Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office, where Curtis E. Paffel, 71, was placed under arrest for a warrant through the Department of Corrections.  Paffel was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

MVC - Property Damage:

3:20 PM, Deputies, the New Glarus Police Department, the Monticello Police Department, and the New Glarus Fire Department, responded to the N7500 blk of STH 69, Town of New Glarus, for an initial report of a single vehicle rollover crash with unknown injury.  Investigation determined a south bound vehicle on STH 69 operated by Jose G. Vasquez-Rodriguez, 23, Sheboygan, was attempting to merge into traffic but was unable to safely do so due to a vehicle blocking his way.  Jose's vehicle entered the shoulder of the roadway where it then lost traction and traveled down an embankment on the west side of the roadway.  Jose and his two passengers reported wearing their seatbelts and not being injured. The vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 9:07 PM, Deputies were dispatched to W3300 block of CTH W, Town of Exeter, for a rollover accident with no reported injuries.  Deputies responded to the scene and made contact with the driver, Ethan R.J. Elliot, 20, Beloit.  Ethan reported traveling eastbound on STH 92 when he failed to negotiate the curve to the left.  Ethan's vehicle then slid across CTH W and he was unable to regain control causing his vehicle to enter the south ditch and overturn.  Ethan reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. Belleville EMS and Belleville Fire Department responded to assist at the scene.  Ethan's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Ethan was cited for Underage Possession of Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle.  He was released with a court date.

ACCIDENT- PD

At 8:59 AM, Deputies responded to the N8800 blk of STH 69, New Glarus Township, for a one vehicle accident.  Investigation found that a vehicle operated by Noah Gatdula, 21 of Monroe, was southbound on STH. 69 and was negotiating the slight curve when the vehicle lost control on the snow/slush covered roadway entering the ditch. Gatdula reported no injuries, seatbelt usage and the vehicle was towed from the scene. Gatdula was cited for failure to keep the vehicle under control and released.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

At approximately 8:14 AM, Deputies responded to the W6800 block of Dividing Ridge Rd, Town of Washington, for a reported vehicle in the ditch.

The driver was identified as Abigail M Moore, 16, of Monroe, who reported being eastbound on Dividing Ridge Rd when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the North ditch and struck a tree. Moore reported no injuries, no airbag deployment, and reported wearing her seatbelt. 

Moore’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

OWI:

At approximately 7:32 PM, Deputies responded to the N5100 block of State Highway 69, Town of Washington, for a hit-and-run accident. 

Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Daniel F Kinney, 84, of Brooklyn, was southbound on State Highway 69 when he was struck by another vehicle operating northbound. Kinney reported no injuries as a result of the crash. The other vehicle then departed the scene. 

Deputies later located the other involved vehicle. Subsequent investigations resulted in the arrest of Gregory C Schmitz, 76, of Monroe for Operating While Intoxicated- 2^nd. Schmitz was released to a responsible party pending court.

Investigations resulted in the driver, Jason J Frey, 50, of Belleville, being arrested or Operating While Under the Influence-1st Offense. Frey was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and speeding. Frey was released to a responsible party pending court.

At 12:57 AM, Amanda J. Bliss, 35, Blanchardville, was stopped for speeding in the N5200 block of STH 69, Town of Washington.  The investigation resulted in Bliss being placed under arrest for OWI - alcohol.   Bliss was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration and Speeding.  Bliss was later released to a responsible person pending court. 

Warrant Arrest:

At 2:20 PM, Kevin Enmanuel Garcia-Martinez, 27, Darlington, was arrested on a Lafayette County Warrant, at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St, Monroe. Garcia-Martinez was transported to the Green County Jail, where he was jailed pending transport to Lafayette County.

Domestic Abuse:

At 5:49 PM, Deputies responded to a disturbance in the W3000 block of Greenbush Rd, Town of Sylvester.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of Zachary R Leaver, 46, Juda, for Battery under the Domestic Abuse Law.  Leaver was transported to the Green County Jail where he posted bond, and was released pending a court appearance.

As of Tuesday, November 25 investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are on scene conducting their investigation.  The Sheriff’s Office detective bureau remains active in assisting on scene.  The Sheriff’s Office has been able to determine preliminary information that the fixed wing airplane was inbound to land at the Monroe Municipal Airport.  Prior to landing, the plane crashed in the gravel quarry on the northside of State Hwy 59 immediately adjacent to the Monroe Municipal Airport.   The individuals deceased on scene have been identified as being within the plane at the time of the crash.  One individual was identified as a 43 year old male from Oshkosh, WI.  The other individual was identified as a 41 year old male from Omro, WI.  

Our condolences and thoughts are with the grieving families.  It is expected that there will be no further releases related to this incident from the Sheriff’s Office.

At 1:43 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W4500 block of STH 11, in the Town of Jefferson.  The investigation resulted in a passenger, Bartosz P. Miodowski, 32, of Chicago, being cited for Possession of Marijuana.   Miodowski was later released pending court.  The driver was warned for the speeding violation.

At 5:14 PM the Sheriff’s Office 911 Communications Center received a call reporting an aircraft crash in the area of the W4600 block of State Hwy 59, Town of Sylvester.  The area of the reported aircraft crash is a gravel quarry on the northside of State Hwy 59 immediately adjacent to the Monroe Municipal Airport.  

The communications center immediately alerted emergency responders.  A Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene and reported a large fire with construction equipment on fire in the quarry along with a large debris field from the aircraft.  Monroe Rural Fire Department, Juda Fire Department, and Green County EMS responded to the scene.  The fire was extinguished by the fire departments.  Emergency personnel located two individuals deceased on scene.  At this time their identities are unknown.  NTSB and FAA will be investigating the aircraft crash and are currently enroute to the scene.  

The Sheriff’s Office remains involved in the investigation and is maintaining scene security.  No further information is available at this time.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 3:25 AM, Deputies responded to the W1200 block of Ten Eyck Rd., in the Town of Decatur, for a reported suspicious vehicle.  Upon arrival, Deputies located an unoccupied vehicle involved in a crash.  The investigation found that Sydney L. Curran, 24, of Juda, was traveling westbound when she swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway and then struck a bridge.   Curran advised that she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  The investigation resulted in Curran being cited for Failure of Operator to Notify Police of a Crash.  Additionally, Jessica L. Curran, 48, of Juda, and Rebecca M. Beutel, 49, of Monroe, were cited for Obstructing an Officer.  All parties were released pending court.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 2:44 PM, Deputies and Green County EMS responded to the W5800 block of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe, for a two-vehicle crash with injury.  The investigation found that Angel L. Prien, 49, of Monroe, was stopped at the stop sign on the STH 11 off ramp waiting to turn south onto STH 69 when another vehicle, driven by Elijah J. Houser, 23, of Butler, WI struck the rear of her vehicle.   Prien sustained non-life-threatening injury and was later transported to the hospital.  Houser advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt.  Both vehicles sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment.  Houser’s vehicle was driven from the scene and Prien’s vehicle remained on scene to be removed at a later time.  The investigation resulted in Houser being cited for Non-Registration of Auto and Operating Too Fast for Conditions.  Houser was released pending court.  

Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 4:58 PM, Deputies, New Glarus EMS, and New Glarus FD responded to the intersection of STH 39 & CTH J, in the Town of York, for a two-vehicle crash with injury.  The investigation found that Maria O. Toruno Conde, 40, of Palpatine, IL was traveling south on CTH J.  When Toruno Conde began traveling south through the intersection, a westbound vehicle driven by Angela J. Schraepfer, 53, of Holandale, collided with the side of her vehicle.  Toruno Conde advised she was wearing her seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.   Toruno Conde was later transported to the hospital.  Schraepfer advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  Both vehicles sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene.  The investigation resulted in Toruno Conde being cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way from a Stop Sign.  Toruno Conde was released pending court.  

Operating While under the Influence

At 6:26 PM, Deputies responded to the N5900 block of STH 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a reported traffic complaint.   Deputies later located the reported vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on it for a moving violation.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Westly A. Druckrey, 29, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Druckrey was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (greater than .15) and Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle.   Druckrey was later released to a responsible person pending court.

Dixie Stechschulte, 62, Argyle, reported she was northbound in the N6300 block of CTH J, Town of Adams, when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle.  Stechschulte reported wearing her seatbelt and sustained a minor injury.  There was front and side curtain airbag deployment.  The vehicle sustained disabling front end damage and was towed from the scene.

Airbag deployment is unknown. The truck was towed from the scene.

Operate While under the Influence

At 6:25 PM, Deputies, along with Blanchardville Fire Department and New Glarus Emergency Medical Services, responded to the W9500 block of STH 39, in the Town of York, for a single vehicle crash with no reported injuries.  The investigation found that the driver, David H. Di Maggio, 62, of Mount Horeb, was traveling eastbound when he fell asleep and failed to negotiate a right curve.   Di Maggio then traveled into the north ditch and then a wooded area before the vehicle came to a rest.  Di Maggio advised he was uninjured and his vehicle sustained disabling damage without airbag deployment.  The investigation resulted in Di Maggio being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence (4^th offense).  Di Maggio was additionally cited for Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control.  Di Maggio was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 10:26 PM, Deputies, along with Brodhead Police Department, Brodhead Fire Department, and Brodhead EMS, responded to the N4600 block of STH 104, in the Town of Decatur, for a single vehicle crash with injuries.   The investigation found that Cory R. Hanson, 32, of Brodhead, was traveling southbound when he swerved to miss a raccoon in the road.  Hanson then lost control of the vehicle and entered the west ditch, where the vehicle overturned and then came to a rest.  Hanson sustained apparent non-life-threatening injuries and was later released.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.

Bunnell 32, of Browntown, was traveling eastbound when she swerved to miss a deer.  Bunnell then traveled into the south ditch and struck a tree before the vehicle came to a rest.  Bunnell advised that she sustained minor non-life-threatening injury.  Bunnell’s vehicle sustained functional damage, without airbag deployment, and remained on scene to later be removed.

ATV - Crash with injuries:

At 10:45 AM, Deputies, along with Green County EMS and Browntown Fire Department, responded to the W7900 block of the Tri County Trail, in the Town of Cadiz, for an ATV vs Tree crash.  Randy W Myatt, 72, Janesville, was traveling westbound when the ATV collided with a mound of ungraded gravel.  Myatt lost control and exited the trail to the north. The ATV collided with several trees before coming to rest overturned.  Myatt sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.  Myatt was wearing protective gear, including a helmet.  The ATV sustained functional damage and was towed from the scene.  

OWI/MVC - Personal Injury:

At 5:00 PM, GRSO Deputies, New Glarus PD, Blanchardville EMS and Fire Department responded to a motorcycle crash with one injured in the W7800 block of STH 39, Town of York.  Duane A Mason, 61, Monticello, was eastbound when he failed to negotiate the curve, and left the north side of the roadway.  The cycle struck a ditch, and Mason was ejected from the cycle.  Mason was not wearing a helmet and sustained minor injuries.  The cycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  

Mason was arrested for OWI 1st - Alcohol, and cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration - 1st, and Failure to Maintain Control of a Motor Vehicle.  He was released to a responsible party pending a court appearance.

At 6:11 AM, Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash in the intersection of STH 92 and CTH E, Town of Brooklyn. Beau York, 33, Albany was northbound on CTH E when he lost control attempting to slow down for the stop sign at the intersection with STH 92.  York entered the intersection where he was struck by an eastbound dump truck, operated by Stephen Schuch, 59, Fitchburg.  The dump truck crossed the center line and slid off the roadway, striking a road sign before coming to rest in a field.  

York reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  York’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Schuch reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The dump truck sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.    

MVC - Property Damage:

At 6:52 AM, Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash in the W800 block of STH 92, Town of Brooklyn. Taylor R Brown, 19, Brooklyn, reported that she was westbound when she lost control due to icy roads. Brown reported wearing her seatbelt and  was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 12:39 PM, Deputies located a single vehicle crash in the N4300 block of State Highway 59, Town of Sylvester.  Rosie A. Martin, 19, Albany, was traveling eastbound when Martin failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle then exited the roadway and entered the east ditch, where the vehicle collided with a road sign. The vehicle re-entered the roadway and was parked along the east shoulder. Martin reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. It was towed from the scene.

Martin was cited for Failure to Control Vehicle, Operate Without a Valid License-Expired, Operate Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Martin was released pending a court date.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 3:54PM, Deputies, along with Albany Fire Dept and Albany EMS responded to a single vehicle crash with injuries in the W1200 block of CTH C, Town of Brooklyn.  Friedrich W. Noreik, 74, Albany, was traveling west when he reported that he fell asleep. Noreik's vehicle entered the south ditch where it came to rest. Noreik reported  wearing his seatbelt and sustained injuries.  He was transported to a hospital via ambulance.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.

At 5:02 AM, Deputies responded to the 100 block of 10^th Ave., in the Village of New Glarus, for a single vehicle crash.   The investigation found that Johsen Said-Mairena, 17, of Freeport, was traveling eastbound when he struck a legally parked vehicle.  Said-Mairena’s vehicle then overturned and came to a rest on the driver’s side.   Said-Mairena was wearing his seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.  Said-Mairena’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Said-Mairena was cited for Operating Without a Valid License and Failure to Maintain Control.  

Criminal Arrest

At 2:31 PM, Deputies responded to the N4100 block of CTH J, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported disturbance.  The investigation resulted in Charmel R. Sutter, 69, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct falling under Wisconsin Domestic Abuse Laws.  Sutter was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 9:47 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of STH 11 & CTH OK, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a reported single vehicle crash.  The investigation found that the driver, Jack S. Francis, 19, of Brodhead, was on CTH OK traveling across STH 11 when one of the wheels on his vehicle detached.   Francis advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt at the time of incident.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.

At 11:27 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W2700 block of STH 59, in the Town of Sylvester.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Shayleigh A. Detra, 19, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Violation of Absolute Sobriety.  Detra was later released to a responsible person pending court.

BAIL JUMPING:

At approximately 2:05 AM, Deputies performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the W7300 block of State Highway 81, Town of Jordan.

As a result, the driver, Noel A Murillo Borjas, 35, of Darlington was arrested for bail jumping. Murillo Borjas was additionally cited for operating after revocation and operating without a valid license (2^nd within 3 years). Murillo Borjas was incarcerated at the Green County Jail. 

PROBATION/PAROLE VIOLATION:

At approximately 2:20 PM, Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6^th St, Probation and Parole Office, City of Monroe, to effect an arrest.

James J Braun, 21, of Monroe, was arrested for a probation/parole violation. Braun was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

At approximately 6:30 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of State Highway 92 and County Highway E, Town of Brooklyn, for a single vehicle accident.

Investigations determined a vehicle operated by Deivis A Rodriguez Colina, 23, of Madison, was northbound on County Highway E when he failed to stop for the stop sign, struck a road sign, and entered the North ditch. Rodriguez Colina reported no injuries, no airbag deployment, and reported wearing his seatbelt. Rodriguez Colina’s vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash. 

Rodriguez Colina was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and released pending court.

At 1:49 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of State Highway 81 and County Highway T, Town of Spring Grove, for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.  Kelly M. Kloster, 42, Pecatonica, was traveling southbound on County Highway T.  Kloster reported she stopped at the stop sign and did not observe any oncoming traffic. Kloster proceeded into the intersection and collided with an eastbound  vehicle on STH 81, operated by Roger W. Davis, 66, Beloit.

Kloster and her passenger reported wearing their seatbelts, and were uninjured.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment. Kloster’'s vehicle was towed from the scene.  Davis reported his seatbelt, and was uninjured.  Davis’ vehicle sustained functional damage with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene.

Kloster was cited for Fail to Yield to the Right of Way From a Stop Sign and was released pending court.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 12:20 PM, Deputies and Brodhead EMS responded to a single motor vehicle crash with injuries in the N1300 block of Mt Hope Rd, Town of Spring Grove.  John L.T. Bennett, 27 of Rural Brodhead, was traveling northbound, when he failed to negotiate a curve and entered the east ditch.  The vehicle continued traveling north through the ditch and then crossed the roadway and entered the west ditch. The vehicle then collided with a concrete barrier and rolled an unknown number of times before

coming to rest on its roof. Bennett sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment. Bennett reported wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

 Bennett was cited for Failure to Control Vehicle, and Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. Bennett was released pending court.

MVC - Property Damage: 

At 12:47 PM, Deputies and Monroe Police responded to a crash at the Argyle Interchange - STH 11 westbound/STH 69-81 off ramp, in the Town of Monroe.  A gray 2013 Chevrolet Equinox was at the stop sign on the westbound off ramp from STH 11.  The Chevy pulled out from the stop sign in front of a westbound straight truck on STH 69/81, operated by Michael H Kundert, 67, Monroe. Kundert took evasive action to avoid a collision, which caused the straight truck to strike a stop sign and cross over the off ramp, before coming to rest on the shoulder of STH 81. Kundert reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The straight truck sustained minor damage.  The Chevy had continued southbound into the City of Monroe.  This crash is still under investigation.

OWI:

At 11:57 PM, Kaden J Hartwig, 21, Argyle, was stopped for speeding in the W7300 block of STH 81, Town of Jordan.  He was subsequently arrested for OWI 1st - alcohol.  Hartwig was cited for Speeding, Prohibited Alcohol Concentration 1st Offense, and given a repair order for expired registration.  He was released to a responsible party pending a court appearance.

On April 15, 2025 the Green County Sheriff’s Office received contact from Law Enforcement in the State of Colorado requesting that Deputies attempt contact with an elderly Green County resident. Colorado Law Enforcement believed that this particular Green County resident may have been the victim in a scam/fraud which was discovered during the course of their own investigation. The initial contact, as well as several subsequent contacts, by Green County Sheriff's Office Deputies did not yield any disclosures from the resident of being victimized. A common theme among the multitude of these types of investigations is the initial denial(s) of victimization due to convincing by the offender(s). In this investigation, contacts had been received from the Department of Homeland Security and the El Paso (CO) County Sheriff's Office. With the initial denials the investigation was moved to inactive status.

In June 2025, the Green County Sheriff's Office received contact from the Green County Aging and Disability Resource Center (Green County ADRC) who reported the Green County resident disclosed to their agency of their victimization and losses exceeding $100,000. Deputies facilitated a meeting with Green County ADRC, Department of Homeland Security, and the local victim to further the investigation into these crimes. Ultimately - this investigation which was led by a Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security resulted in formal charges being issued by the Green County District Attorney's Office on September 25, 2025.

As noted on the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access Page (CCAP) - ANAS MEHDI ISMAILBHAI VOHRA (M/U, DOB: 07/04/2003) of Evanston, IL was charged under Green County CCAP case 2025CF143 with the following crimes;

Theft-False Representation >$10,000-$100,000;  943.20(1)(d) (with an increase penalty modifier for an Elder Person Victim  939.623(2)(b))

Money Laundering-Knowingly Organizes/Initiates/Finances/Facilitates (over $10,000 to $100,000); 943.895(2)(a)2 (with an increase penalty modifier for an Elder Person Victim  939.623(2)(b))

At the time charges were issued (September 25, 2025), VOHRA noted a reported address of the La Crosse County Jail in La Crosse, WI. 

VOHRA appeared by virtual means for a return on warrant / initial appearance on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM in Green County Circuit Court before the Honorable Judge Phillipson. At that hearing, VOHRA received a $50,000.00 cash bail with the Green County case set for a preliminary hearing in Green County Circuit Court on November 17, 2025 at 2:30 PM.

CCAP Records also show that VOHRA was charged under La Crosse County CCAP case 2025CF372 for the same charges with a filing date of May 21, 2025 and an initial appearance in June 2025. In that case, VOHRA received a $50,000 cash bail and has been in the custody of La Crosse County Jail since that time. 

The Green County Sheriff's Office expresses their appreciation for the other professionals involved throughout this investigation that has led to the issuance of charges against the identified defendant (Specifically the El Paso County (CO) Sheriff's Office, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Green County (ADRC). Sadly, this is just one of countless fraud/scam complaints reported to or discovered by law enforcement across the Country every day.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 5:45 AM, Deputies along with Green County EMS and Juda Fire Department responded to the W2900 block of STH 11, Town of Jefferson, for a single vehicle accident.  Trevor A Smith, 26, Monroe, was eastbound when he entered the gravel shoulder on the South side of the road.  Smith reported losing control, collided with a ditch, crossed over CTH S, and rolled before coming to rest in a crop field. Smith reported sustaining injuries, reported not wearing his seatbelt, and airbag deployment. Smith was transported via EMS for further medical evaluation. 

Smith's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Smith was cited for Operate without a Valid DL, Failure to Maintain Control of Vehicle, Operator Not Wearing Seatbelt, and Non-Registration of an Auto. Smith was released with a court date. 

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 8:22 AM, Deputies along with Brodhead Fire Department, Brodhead EMS, and Albany EMS responded to the N3700 block of CTH E, Town of Decatur, for a two vehicle accident.  Richard M Leitzen, 78, Brodhead, was northbound when a southbound vehicle operated by Thomas C Woodruff, 75, Brodhead, crossed the centerline and into the northbound lane. Woodruff's vehicle collided with Leitzen's vehicle.

Both Leitzen and Woodruff had injuries and were transported via EMS. Leitzen and Woodruff both reported wearing their seatbelts. Leitzen's airbag deployed while Woodruff's airbags did not. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. 

Woodruff was cited for operating left of center and released with a court date.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 10:40 PM, Deputies responded to the N6700 block of English Settlement Rd, Town of Albany, for a single vehicle crash.  Kalya Elmer, 34, Albany, was northbound when she swerved to miss the deer in the roadway.  Elmer crossed the center line and crashed into the east ditch.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment.  Elmer reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle remained at the scene and will be removed at a later time.

At approximately 3:18 AM, Deputies performed a check welfare on two vehicles with hazard lights activated in the W8900 block of State Highway 11, Town of Cadiz. 

Investigations resulted in Grant L Anderson, 19, of Freeport and James T Runia, 19, of Monroe being cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. 

Runia and Anderson were released pending court. 

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT- PROPERTY DAMAGE:

At approximately 11:50 AM, Deputies responded to the N6200 block of County Highway N, Town of Washington, for a report of an overturned semi unit.

Investigations determined that Troy A Gartmann, 44, of Gratiot was attempted to turn southbound onto County Highway N when he applied the brakes causing the load in the tanker to shift. Gartmann attempted to complete the turn and the semi entered the ditch. Gartmann’s semi unit overturned as a result of entering the ditch. Gartmann reported no injury and reported wearing his seatbelt. 

Gartmann’s semi unit sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene.

Sarah A Schubert, 15, New Glarus, was southbound on Schneeberger Rd preparing to turn East onto Zurfluh Rd.  Schubert reported performing a hard turn and slid on the gravel striking a parked vehicle, occupied by Sonya L Killebrew, 44, Waycross, GA, on Zurfluh Rd.  Danica S Killebrew, 17, Waycross, GA, sustained an injury as she was standing behind the parked vehicle when Schubert's vehicle struck the Killebrew vehicle.  Danica was transported to an area hospital via EMS Sonya reported wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured.  Sonya’s vehicle sustained damage and was towed from the scene.  There was no airbag deployment.

Schubert and her passenger reported wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured.  The vehicle Schubert was operating sustained functional front end damage with no airbag deployment.  This vehicle was driven from the scene.   Schubert was cited for Violation of GDL restrictions and released with a court date.

At 5:21 AM, Deputies responded to a rollover in the N5200 block of CTH N, Town of Washington.  Mason J Solofra, 16, Monroe, was northbound when he lost control, crossed the center line and entered the west ditch, rolling over, before coming to rest.  Solofra reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  The vehicle sustained all-over, disabling damage with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.

Probation/Parole Arrest:

At 1:09 PM , Deputies responded to the WI Department of Corrections, 2841 6th St, Monroe.  Angelica Janet Delgado-Breneman, 38, New Glarus, was taken into custody without incident.  Delgado-Breneman was transported to the Green County Jail, and turned over to jail staff.

Warrant Arrest:

At 1:26 PM, Deputies at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St, Monroe, had contact with Jose Luis Rojas, 33, Whitewater, who had a warrant through WI DOC.  Rojas was taken into custody on the warrant, transported to the Green County Jail, and turned over to jail staff.

At 4:03 AM, Deputies responded the W6600 block of CTH B, in the Town of Clarno, for a reported domestic disturbance.  The investigation resulted in Roger R. Alston, 74, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Intimidation of a Victim, falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws.  Alston was later transported and booked into the Green County Jail, then released pending court.

Probation Violation

At 3:12 PM, Deputies responded to the Probation & Parole Offices where David L. Webb, 33, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for a Probation Violation.  Webb was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

At 12:09 AM, Deputies had conducted a line-meet with Dane County Deputies for a Green County warrant arrest of Reegan Camile Olson, 24, Oregon.  Olson was found to be in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  She was jailed on the warrant, and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 11:22 PM, Deputies responded to a vehicle vs parked vehicle in the 200 block of N Mechanic St/STH 59, Village of Albany.  Gary L Burkhalter, 77, Monroe, was southbound when he swerved to miss a cat in the roadway.  Burkhalter struck the rear end of an unoccupied legally parked vehicle owned by Brian S Hauri, 52, Brodhead.  Burkhalter’s vehicle sustained functional passenger side front end damage, with no airbag deployment.  Burkhalter and his passenger both reported wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured.  Their vehicle was driven from the scene.  Hauri’s vehicle sustained minor driver’s side rear corner damage, with no airbag deployment.  The vehicle remained on scene.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 11:26 PM, Deputies, along with Brodhead FD and EMS, responded to a motorcycle crash with injuries in the N4800 block of STH 104, Town of Decatur.  Phillip H Stietz, 70, Albany, was southbound when he lost control, crossed the center line and entered the east ditch, where the bike overturned.  The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Stietz was wearing a helmet and safety equipment, and sustained injuries.  He was transported to an area hospital via EMS.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 4:12 PM, Deputies responded to the W1600 block of STH 11, in the Town of Spring Grove, for a two-vehicle crash without injuries.   The investigation found that Julie F. Kempf, 48, of Monroe, and John P. Hayes, 58, of Monroe, were traveling westbound when Hayes swerved into the other westbound lane to avoid a deer, and struck Kempf’s vehicle.  Hayes and Kempf advised they were uninjured and wearing their seatbelts.  Both vehicle’s sustained functional damage, without airbag deployment, and were driven from the scene.

At 6:29 PM, deputies stopped a vehicle hauling a van in the W6000 block of CTH C, Town of Washington, for several equipment violations.  The stop resulted in the arrest of Jack Lynn Williford, 33, Stoughton, for OWI 1st - alcohol.  He was also cited for Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, Non-Registration of Vehicle (expired), Possess Open Intoxicants in a MV, and No Proof of MV Insurance.  He was released to a responsible party with a court date. 

Warrant Arrest:

At 11:10 PM, Malaki W Cooter, 18, Monroe, turned himself in at the Green County Jail for a Department Of Corrections warrant.  The warrant was confirmed, and he was escorted into the jail and turned over to jail staff.

At 2:42 PM, Deputies responded to the WI DOC office, 2841 6th St, in the City of Monroe to assist Department of Corrections Agents. Deputies took  Jacan L. Flores, 26 of Monroe, into custody for a Probation Violation. Flores was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

Operating While under the Influence

At 7:45 PM, Deputies responded to the W5800 block of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported traffic complaint on a vehicle.  Deputies later located the vehicle parked on the roadway and conducted a welfare check on the driver.  The investigation resulted in Bridget A. Short, 41, of Mount Carroll being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and cited for Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle.  Short was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.  Monroe Police Department assisted on scene.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 2:57 PM, Deputies, along with the Monroe Rural Fire Department and Juda Fire Department, responded to the W4800 block of STH 59, in the Town of Sylvester, for a motor vehicle on fire.  The investigation found that a westbound vehicle, driven by Katherine M. Brown, 60, of Monroe, began to smoke from the engine compartment.  Upon Brown stopping and exiting the vehicle, she observed flames coming from the engine compartment.  Brown advised that she was uninjured.  The fire was later extinguished and the vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.

Domestic Abuse

At 11:41 PM, Deputies responded to the N5700 block of Washington Rd., in the Town of Washington, for a reported disturbance.  The investigation resulted in Daniel J. Smiley, 43, of Monticello, being placed under arrest for Battery and Disorderly Conduct, falling under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws.  Smiley was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court or the posting of his bond.

Warrant Arrest

At 5:50 PM, Deputies responded to the Green County Jail where Terry J. Russ, 71, of Brodhead, was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant through the Department of Corrections.  Russ was later incarcerated at the Green County.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 2:09 PM, Deputies, along with Monroe Rural FD, Green County EMS, New Glarus EMS, and Monticello FD, responded to a three vehicle crash with injuries, in the N4400 block of STH 69, Town of Monroe.

A vehicle operated by Cassandra M Trumpy, 28, Monticello, was northbound on STH 69, preparing to turn onto Cold Springs Rd when another northbound vehicle operated by Kaelyn E Welch, 19, Monroe, struck Trumpy’s vehicle from behind. Trumpy's vehicle got pushed into the southbound lane of traffic and was struck by a southbound vehicle operated by Andrew E Reinbold, 44, Argyle.

Trumpy reported wearing her seatbelt and sustained injuries as a result of the crash.  Trumpy was transported via EMS to an area hospital.  Trumpy's juvenile passengers were properly restrained and reported no injuries.  Trumpy’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and had airbag deployment.  Reinbold reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained injuries.  He was transported via EMS to an area hospital.  Reinbold’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment.  Welch reported wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.  Welch’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment.  All vehicles were towed from the scene.  Citations are pending.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 4:18 PM, Deputies responded to a vehicle vs implement of husbandry crash on Atkinson Rd at Condon Rd, Town of Albany.  Brody R Trustem, 22, Evansville, was operating a tractor hauling a grain cart, and was westbound on Atkinson Rd.  An SUV operated by Brian Ammon, 44, Brodhead, was westbound behind the tractor and grain cart group..  Ammon attempted to pass the tractor, but the tractor turned south onto Condon Rd, and the SUV struck the tractor.  Ammon and his passenger both reported wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured.  The SUV sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment.  The SUV was towed from the scene. Trustem reported wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.  The tractor and trailer sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.

 Ammon was cited for passing a vehicle making a left turn.

Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury

At 4:52 AM, Deputies responded to the W7800 block of STH 81, in the Town of Jordan, to assist Monroe Police Department with a vehicle pursuit that ended in a motor vehicle crash.  The suspect, Leandrew V. Byndom, 31, of Freeport, was later taken into custody by Monroe Police Department.  Deputies later conducted the crash investigation as it occurred in County jurisdiction.  The investigation found that the vehicle was traveling west on STH 81 when attempting to elude Monroe Police Department.  The driver attempted to turn into Klondike Cheese, but was unable to negotiate the turn and traveled down an embankment and into a culvert.  The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Byndom sustained non-life-threatening injury with unknown seatbelt usage.  

Warrant Arrest

At 8:06 AM, Deputies responded to the W5900 block of Patina Ln., in the Town of Clarno, where Ethan E. Tregloan, 24, was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant through the Department of Corrections.   Tregloan was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

MVC - Property Damage:

At 10:57 AM, Deputies responded to the W4500 block of CTH K, Town of Jefferson, for the report of a guardrail that had been struck.  Deputies met with Green County Highway, who advised that sometime between 09/22-09/25/25, a vehicle struck the guard rail causing approximately $3,000 worth of damage to the guardrail. 

It appeared that a vehicle was traveling eastbound when it veered off the roadway and entered the south shoulder.  The vehicle then collided with the guardrail and continued in a South east direction through the ditch.  The vehicle then departed the scene.  Anyone with information can contact the Green County Crime Stoppers at greencountycrimestoppers.com, or 1-800-I-C-CRIME.

Warrant Arrest:

At 7:00 PM, Deputies received an anonymous tip about a subject with warrants from Green County Crimestoppers.  Deputies responded to a residence in the W4500 block of Witt Rd, Town of Mt Pleasant.  There, they took Kaitlyn M Kendall, 30, Monroe, into custody for warrants through Lafayette County Sheriff.  Kaitlyn was transported to the Lafayette County line, where she was turned over to Lafayette County Deputies.

Operating While under the Influence

At 12:21 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N6200 block of STH 69, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant.   The investigation resulted in the driver, Zachary D. White, 21, of Lena, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and cited for Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed.  White was later released pending court.

Disorderly Conduct

At 1:30 AM, Deputies responded to the W5800 block of CTH NN, in the Town of New Glarus, for a reported disturbance.  The investigation resulted with the subjects involved, Teylon J. Hampton, 19, of Monroe and Anthony J. Severson, 52, of New Glarus, being cited for Disorderly Conduct.  Both parties were released pending court.

Accident-PD/ OWI

At 4:06 PM, Deputies, along with Evansville PD, Rock County Sheriff's Office, Evansville First Response/EMS, responded to the N9000 blk of STH 104, Town of Brooklyn, for a two vehicle crash.  Investigation found a vehicle, operated by Ernest J. Newel, 50 of Evansville, was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when he rear ended another south bound vehicle, operated by Zackery J. Riddle, 36 of Brooklyn. Newel was not injured and reported wearing his seatbelt. Newel's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Riddle and passengers reported wearing their seatbelts and not being injured. Riddle’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Newel was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 7th Offense. Newel is being held at the Green County Jail pending court.

At 3:29 PM, Deputies responded to Green County Probation and Parole, where Dakota C.J. Lorenz, 32, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for an active warrant issued through Wisconsin Department of Corrections.  Lorenz was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 2:18 PM, Deputies and GC EMS responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries at  the Albany Interchange, STH 59 and STH 11, City of Monroe.  A vehicle operated by Barbara A Johnson, 81, Albany, was at the exit from eastbound STH 11, stopped at the stop sign.  A vehicle operated by Richard Heitke, 76, Clinton, WI, was southbound on STH 59.  Johnson had pulled out into the intersection to turn north onto STH 59, and collided with the vehicle operated by Heitke.  

Johnson reported minor injuries, and was wearing a seatbelt.  There was no airbag deployment, but Johnson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Heitke and his passenger reported wearing their seatbelts and sustained injuries.  They were transported to an area hospital via EMS.  There was no airbag deployment in the Heitke vehicle, but it sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Johnson was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way from a Stop Sign, and was released pending a court appearance. 

Green County Highway Department also assisted at the scene.

At 9:55 AM, Deputies responded to the WI Department of Corrections 2841 6th St, City of Monroe, for an apprehension request.  Deputies arrested William Robert Ellison, 33, homeless, for the probation/parole violation.  Ellison was jailed.
