The following events occurred on September 25, 2025:
All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MVC - Personal Injury:
At 2:18 PM, Deputies and GC EMS responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries at the Albany Interchange, STH 59 and STH 11, City of Monroe. A vehicle operated by Barbara A Johnson, 81, Albany, was at the exit from eastbound STH 11, stopped at the stop sign. A vehicle operated by Richard Heitke, 76, Clinton, WI, was southbound on STH 59. Johnson had pulled out into the intersection to turn north onto STH 59, and collided with the vehicle operated by Heitke.
Johnson reported minor injuries, and was wearing a seatbelt. There was no airbag deployment, but Johnson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Heitke and his passenger reported wearing their seatbelts and sustained injuries. They were transported to an area hospital via EMS. There was no airbag deployment in the Heitke vehicle, but it sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Johnson was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way from a Stop Sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
Green County Highway Department also assisted at the scene.
