The following events occurred on October 5, 2025:
All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MVC - Personal Injury:
At 2:09 PM, Deputies, along with Monroe Rural FD, Green County EMS, New Glarus EMS, and Monticello FD, responded to a three vehicle crash with injuries, in the N4400 block of STH 69, Town of Monroe.
A vehicle operated by Cassandra M Trumpy, 28, Monticello, was northbound on STH 69, preparing to turn onto Cold Springs Rd when another northbound vehicle operated by Kaelyn E Welch, 19, Monroe, struck Trumpy’s vehicle from behind. Trumpy's vehicle got pushed into the southbound lane of traffic and was struck by a southbound vehicle operated by Andrew E Reinbold, 44, Argyle.
Trumpy reported wearing her seatbelt and sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Trumpy was transported via EMS to an area hospital. Trumpy's juvenile passengers were properly restrained and reported no injuries. Trumpy’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and had airbag deployment. Reinbold reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained injuries. He was transported via EMS to an area hospital. Reinbold’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. Welch reported wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. Welch’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with airbag deployment. All vehicles were towed from the scene. Citations are pending.
MVC - Property Damage:
At 4:18 PM, Deputies responded to a vehicle vs implement of husbandry crash on Atkinson Rd at Condon Rd, Town of Albany. Brody R Trustem, 22, Evansville, was operating a tractor hauling a grain cart, and was westbound on Atkinson Rd. An SUV operated by Brian Ammon, 44, Brodhead, was westbound behind the tractor and grain cart group.. Ammon attempted to pass the tractor, but the tractor turned south onto Condon Rd, and the SUV struck the tractor. Ammon and his passenger both reported wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured. The SUV sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment. The SUV was towed from the scene. Trustem reported wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. The tractor and trailer sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
Ammon was cited for passing a vehicle making a left turn.
