Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 5:02 AM, Deputies responded to the 100 block of 10th Ave., in the Village of New Glarus, for a single vehicle crash. The investigation found that Johsen Said-Mairena, 17, of Freeport, was traveling eastbound when he struck a legally parked vehicle. Said-Mairena’s vehicle then overturned and came to a rest on the driver’s side. Said-Mairena was wearing his seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Said-Mairena’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Said-Mairena was cited for Operating Without a Valid License and Failure to Maintain Control.
Criminal Arrest
At 2:31 PM, Deputies responded to the N4100 block of CTH J, in the Town of Monroe, for a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in Charmel R. Sutter, 69, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct falling under Wisconsin Domestic Abuse Laws. Sutter was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
