Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 3:25 AM, Deputies responded to the W1200 block of Ten Eyck Rd., in the Town of Decatur, for a reported suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Deputies located an unoccupied vehicle involved in a crash. The investigation found that Sydney L. Curran, 24, of Juda, was traveling westbound when she swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway and then struck a bridge. Curran advised that she was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. The investigation resulted in Curran being cited for Failure of Operator to Notify Police of a Crash. Additionally, Jessica L. Curran, 48, of Juda, and Rebecca M. Beutel, 49, of Monroe, were cited for Obstructing an Officer. All parties were released pending court.
