All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incident occurred on Friday, October 15, 2021:
Operating While Under the Influence Arrest –
At approximately 6:34 AM, Deputies and the Monticello Police Department, responded to the area of N6200 State Highway 69 for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Investigation revealed that the operator, Mallory R. Barbieur, 37 of Evansville, was attempting to back into a field drive and missed, causing her vehicle to enter the ditch.
Mallory was not injured, reported wearing her seatbelt and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle did not sustain any noticeable damage and was removed from the ditch by Jelle’s Towing.
Mallory was subsequently arrested for Operating While Under the Influence of alcohol – 1st offense. Mallory was also issued a citation for Operating With Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Mallory was transported to the Green County Jail where she was held pending a responsible party.
