The following incident occurred on Wednesday, October 27, 2021:
Traffic Crash -
At approximately 7:17 AM, Deputies responded to the area of W3800 State Highway 11, Town of Sylvester, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that the driver, Tyler R. Pandow, 28 of Monroe, was traveling west on State Highway 11 when a deer entered the roadway. Tyler served to avoid the deer and exited the right shoulder of the roadway. Tyler then overcorrected and re-entered the roadway, traveling across the median and coming to a rest in the east bound lane.
Tyler reported wearing his seatbelt and not being injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and there was no airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Don's Towing.
Tyler was subsequently cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control.
