The following incident occurred on Saturday, November 06, 2021:

Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury – 

At approximately 8:22 PM, Deputies, the Browntown Fire Department, Browntown First Response, and Monroe EMS, responded to the W8200 block of State Highway 11, Town of Cadiz, for a one vehicle rollover crash with injury. 

Investigation revealed that the operator, Daniel K. Lattin, 26 of Browntown, was traveling west when a deer entered the roadway. Daniel swerved to avoid the deer and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle entered the ditch, striking an embankment and a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to a rest on its roof, sustaining disabling damage. Daniel reported wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. 

Daniel sustained apparent minor injuries and was transported by Monroe EMS for further evaluation. Jelle’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
