The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021:
Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury:
At approximately 5:04 PM, Deputies, the Juda Fire Department, and Green County EMS responded to the intersection of State Highway 11 and County Highway S, Town of Jefferson, for a two vehicle accident with injuries.
Investigations determined Arthur J Terry, 19, of Orfordville, was eastbound on State Highway 11 when a vehicle operated by Jan Carlos Guzman Rodriguez, 28, of Beloit, failed to yield the right of way from County Highway S. Guzman Rodriguez’s vehicle collided with Terry’s vehicle.
Terry sustained minor injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags in his vehicle deployed. Terry’s adult passenger sustained minor injury and reported not wearing their seatbelt. Terry’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
Guzman Rodriguez sustained injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Guzman Rodriguez’s adult passenger, sustained injuries, and reported wearing their seatbelt. Guzman Rodriguez’s vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.
Guzman Rodriguez was cited for Operating without a valid Driver License, Operating without Insurance, and Failure to yield the right of way. Guzman Rodriguez was released pending a court date.
