The following incidents occurred on Friday, December 3rd, 2021:
Probation and Parole Arrest:
At approximately 2:11 PM, Deputies responded to the N2300 block of Twin Grove Rd, Town of Jefferson, for a disorderly person.
Investigations resulted in Steven West, 30, of Juda, being arrested for violating his probation and parole conditions. West was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Personal Injury:
At approximately 9:32 PM, Deputies along with the Albany Police Department, Albany Fire Department, Albany EMS, Green County EMS, and Belleville EMS, responded to the intersection of County Highway X and County Highway EE, Town of Albany, for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.
Investigations found a vehicle operated by Giovanni Warren, 24, of Monticello, was westbound when another vehicle operated by Carol J Rankin, 18, of Belleville, failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign.
As a result, the two vehicles collided. Warren and Rankin reported wearing seatbelts and both vehicles air bags deployed. Warren was transported for further medical injury. Rankin denied injuries. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
Rankin was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.
