The following incidents occurred on Sunday, December 5th, 2021:
Motor Vehicle Accident-Personal Injury:
At approximately 9:45 AM, Deputies responded to the W2600 block of State Highway 59, Town of Sylvester, for a report of a single vehicle accident.
Investigations identified the driver as Brittney A Vine, 20, of Albany, was westbound when she lost control of her vehicle due to the ice covered roadway. The vehicle entered the South ditch and rolled onto its roof.
Vine reported wearing her seatbelt and was evaluated by Albany EMS where she was later transported for further evaluation. Vine’s vehicle sustained severe damages and was towed from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage:
At approximately 10:18 AM, Deputies responded near the N5600 block of State Highway 104, Town of Albany, for a single vehicle accident.
Investigations identified the driver as Cory E Thornton, 31, of Blanchardville, who reported being southbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the ice covered roadway.
Thornton reported wearing his seatbelt, denied injuries, and his vehicle’s airbags deployed. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
