The following incident occurred on Friday, December 17, 2021:
Traffic Crime –
At approximately 4:45 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the W4600 block of State Highway 11, Town of Jefferson. Investigation resulted in the operator, Elena C. Deleon, 26 of Beloit, being cited for Operating without a Valid License, 3rd offense within 3 years. Elena was released with a future court date.
Bail Jumping/Warrant Arrest –
At approximately 9:28 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the N7300 block of State Highway 69, Town of New Glarus.
Investigation resulted in the operator, Jose A. Garcia-Garcia, 36 of Fitchburg, being cited for Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device, Operating with Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (3rd Offense), and Operating while Revoked.
Jose was subsequently arrested for three counts of misdemeanor Bail Jumping and for an active warrant through Dane County for Failure to Appear. Jose was transported to the Green County Jail where he is awaiting his initial appearance or posting of his bond.
