The following incidents occurred on Friday, December 24th, 2021:
Motor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage:
At 12:18 AM, Deputies responded to the intersection of County Highway F and Tin Can Rd, Town of Albany, for a car vs sign accident.
The driver was identified as David K Meinolf, 41, of Albany, who reported driving westbound on County Highway F when an animal entered the roadway. Meinolf reported swerving to avoid the animal and struck a traffic sign. Meinolf denied injury, reported wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment.
Meinolf’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
Motor Vehicle Accident- Property Damage:
At 8:15 PM, Deputies responded to the N9500 block of Legler Rd, Town of Brooklyn, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch.
Contact was made with the driver, identified as Joanne E Lien, 75, of Brooklyn, who advised she was southbound on Legler Rd when she became disoriented due to the fog. Joanne attempted to turn onto Alpine Rd when her vehicle entered the ditch and became stuck. Lien denied injury, reported wearing her seatbelt, and no airbag deployment.
Lien’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
