The following incident occurred on Sunday, December 26, 2021:
Motor Vehicle Crash with Injury -
At approximately 10:02 PM, Deputies, The Monroe Rural Fire Department, and Green County EMS, responded to the N400 block of State Highway 69, Town of Clarno, for a report of a one vehicle crash with injury.
Investigation revealed that the operator, a juvenile, Emma, 16, was traveling on STH 69, when she became blinded by the snow and lost sight of the roadway. Emma entered the ditch and struck a cement culvert. There was no airbag deployment, Emma reported wearing her seatbelt and having stomach pain.
Emma was transported by Green County EMS for evaluation and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
