The following events occurred on March 29, 2026:

All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Criminal Arrest

At 2:56 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N3500 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Michael A. Pickett, 44, of Bay City (MI) being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence and Possession of Cocaine.  Pickett was additionally cited for Speeding and Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License.  Pickett was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

Operating While under the Influence

At 3:54 AM, Deputies conducted a welfare check on a motorist in the N3500 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Anthony L. Waelti, 41, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Waelti was additionally cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (greater than .15).  Waelti was later released to a responsible person pending court. 

Warrant Arrest

At 5:40 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N4300 block of STH 69, in the Town of Monroe.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Destiny D. Parker, 35, of Freeport, being placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant through Dane County.  Parker was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
