The Green County Coroner's Office is confirming the name of the individual that died following an incident on 10/22/22 in the Village of Browntown WI as Samuel Santiago, 19 of Milwaukee WI
On 10-24-2022 a forensic examination was completed. Preliminary results of the examination support Samuel Santiago died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Additional testing is underway at this time.
The death remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Green County Coroner's Office.
