Operating While under the Influence

At 2:42 AM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the W5200 block of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe.  The investigation resulted in the driver, Richard J. Curran, 54, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Curran was additionally cited for speeding.  Curran was later released to a responsible party pending court. 

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

At 5:39 PM, Deputies responded to the W4400 block of Exeter Crossing Rd., in the Town of Exeter, for a reported single vehicle crash without injury.  The investigation found that the driver, Nathan J. Hendrickson, 17, of New Glarus, was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions.  Hendrickson then entered the south ditch and then traveled into a nearby river.   Hendrickson advised he was uninjured and wearing his seatbelt at the time of incident.  Hendrickson’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, without airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
