The following events occurred on December 18, 2024:

MVC - Personal Injury:

At 3:55 AM, Deputies and Blanchardville EMS responded to the N9200 block of STH 78, in the Town of York, for a report of a one vehicle rollover with injuries.  Eduardo Davila Orozco, 50 of Blanchardville, was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the road conditions.  Eduardo reported wearing his seatbelt but suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was transported by EMS to an area hospital.  Edwardo has no insurance on the vehicle.  There was no airbag deployment, and the vehicle sustained disabling damage.  The vehicle was towed from the scene. Eduardo was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license, and failure to maintain control.  He was released with a court date.

MVC - Property Damage

At 7:14 AM, Deputies responded to the W5200 block of CTH KK, Town of Monroe, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch.  Jared Nipple, 32, Monroe, was eastbound on CTH KK when he failed to negotiate the curve, entered the ditch and struck an embankment. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and had no airbag deployment. Jared reported wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
