2024 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on November 11, 2024

The following events occurred on November 10, 2024:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

 

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage

 

At 3:56 AM, Deputies responded to the 500 block of S. Monroe St., in the Village of Monticello, for a two-vehicle crash.  The investigation found that Kyle E. Rouzan, 36, of Monroe, was driving southbound when he collided with a legally parked car.  Rouzan advised that he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  Rouzan’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end, with airbag deployment, and was removed from the scene.  The parked vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.  Rouzan was cited for Operating After Suspension, No Insurance, and Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle.  Rouzan was released pending court.
