Operating While under the Influence

At 11:40 PM, Deputies, along with Brodhead PD, Brodhead EMS, and Brodhead FD, responded to a one vehicle crash with unknown injuries in the N4400 block of CTH E, in the Town of Decatur.  The investigation found that Jeffrey D. Kocher, 25, of Aubrey, TX, was traveling southbound when he entered the west shoulder, collided with an embankment to a driveway, overturned, struck a utility pole, and then came to a rest on a fence.  Kocher advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.  Kocher’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment and was towed from the scene.  The investigation resulted in Kocher being placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence.  Kocher was additionally cited for Driving too Fast for Conditions.  Kocher was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
