The following events occurred on October 14, 2024:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Warrant Arrest

At 2:50 PM Deputies responded to the intersection of Legler Valley Rd & Ashley Ln, in the Town of New Glarus, for an abandoned vehicle. Further investigation resulted in the vehicle owner, Edwin D. Gashette, 26 of New Glarus, being arrested for a Felony Warrant through the Dane County Sheriff's Office. Gashette was arrested and  turned over to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

Traffic & Drug/Narcotic Violation

At 8:33 PM Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 1000 block of STH 69, in the City of Monroe.  Wyatt W Brown, 19, Monroe, was cited for speeding, possession of less than 25g of marijuana, possession of psilocybin, underage possession of nicotine, non-registration of vehicle, no proof of insurance, and operating without carrying a license.  He was released pending a court appearance.
