The following events occurred on September 28, 2024:

Motor Vehicle Crash – Property Damage
At 12:21 PM, Deputies responded to the W2400 block of STH 59, in the Town of Decatur, for a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries. The investigation found that Daryl L. Lincicum, 57, of Evansville, was traveling eastbound when a deer entered the road. Lincicum then began braking to prevent colliding with the deer and a second vehicle, driven by Owen K. Roth, 18, of Albany, struck the back of Lincicum’s vehicle. Lincicum and Roth advised that they were wearing their seatbelts and were uninjured. Lincicum’s vehicle sustained minor damage, with no airbag deployment, and was driven from the scene. Roth’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
Warrant Arrest
At 10:15 PM, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N7500 block of STH 69, in the Town of New Glarus. The investigation resulted in the driver, Omar Castellanos Pedroza, 33, of Madison, being placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant through Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. Castellanos Pedroza was also cited for speeding and operating without a valid driver’s license. Castellanos Pedroza was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail and released after the posting of his bond.
Motor Vehicle Crash – Personal Injury
At 10:57 PM, Deputies, along with Monroe PD, Monroe Rural FD, and Green County EMS responded to the intersection of STH 81 & CTH N, in the Town of Monroe, for a two vehicle crash with unknown injuries. The investigation found that Gavin R. Harris, 18, of Monticello, was traveling northbound on CTH N, when he checked his phone and then failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with STH 81. Harris then traveled into the intersection, where he collided with Cindi M. Wittlinger, 51, of Arizona. Harris and Wittlinger both advised they were wearing their seatbelts. Harris advised he was uninjured. Wittlinger was later transported to the Hospital for further medical evaluation. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and were towed from the scene. Harris was later cited for Inattentive Driving and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.
