The following incidents occurred on Sunday, December 10th, 2023:

OWI:
At approximately 4:52 AM, Deputies along with Monroe Police Officers responded to the W5200 block of County Highway KK, Town of Monroe, for a single vehicle accident.
Investigations found that Juan R Sequeira Fernandez, 22, of Winslow, was eastbound on County Highway KK when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a boulder in the North ditch. Sequeira Fernandez reported no injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and airbags did deploy within the vehicle. Sequeira Fernandez’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Sequeira Fernandez was arrested for operating while under the influence. Sequeira Fernandez was further cited for operating without a valid driver license (2nd within 3 years), driving too fast for conditions, and operating without liability insurance.
Sequeira Fernandez was released to a responsible party.
