The following events occurred on December 6, 2023:

All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-INJURY:

At 1:39 p.m., Deputies along with New Glarus Police Department, New Glarus Fire Department, and New Glarus EMS responded to the intersection of Old Madison Road and State Highway 69, in the Town of New Glarus for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Amy L. Holen, 54 of Monroe, was traveling southbound when a vehicle traveling eastbound on Old Madison Road and pulled out in front of her causing the two vehicles to collide. Holen reported wearing her seatbelt and the airbags did not deploy. Holen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Holen’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

The second vehicle was operated by Alexander M. Bobrowicz, 22 of New Glarus. Bobrowixz reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Bobrowicz’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:

At 6:09 p.m., Deputies responded to the N8600 block of County Highway X, in the Town of Exeter, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Desiree Lopez-Moreno, 42 of Madison was backing out of a driveway, when the vehicle backed into the west ditch. Moreno reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Moreno’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
