The following events occurred on December 3, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 6:38 a.m., Deputies responded to the W7600 block of State Highway 39, in the Town of York for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Morgan A. Hustad, 22 of Mount Horeb was traveling eastbound when she lost control and entered the north ditch. The vehicle then proceeded up an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn. Hustad reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
OWI:
At 6:42 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating left of center in the 400 block of West Coates Avenue, in the Village of Monticello. Investigation resulted in the operator, Debra A. Dippen-Watterson, 65 of New Glarus being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence (1st-Alcohol). Watterson was further cited for Operating With a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration (Greater than .15) and for Operating Left of Center. Watterson was released to a responsible party pending court.
