The following events occurred on November 27, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 6:54 a.m., Deputies responded to the N3600 block of County Highway N, in the Town of Monroe for the report of a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Salvador D. Lopez Quezada, 30 of Pampa TX was traveling northbound, when a southbound vehicle had crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle. The southbound vehicle continued traveling south. Quezada reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. Quezada’s vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
PROBATION/PAROLE VIOLATION:
At 8:33 a.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe, to assist Department of Corrections Agents. Investigation resulted in Benata Pereira, 52 of Brodhead being arrested for a Probation Violation. Pereira was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
