Green County Sheriff’s Detectives continue to investigate the death of an adult male that occurred in a parking lot along 12th Avenue in the City of Monroe, that occurred during the afternoon of Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
The deceased male has been identified as Casey J. Austin, age 49, who has a last known address of Janesville, WI. Mr. Austin’s vehicle was positively identified as the suspect vehicle in an armed robbery in Orfordville, WI earlier Tuesday afternoon and he matches the physical description of the suspect involved in the armed robbery.
We anticipate releasing additional details in the death investigation early Friday afternoon.
