The following incident occurred on Wednesday, November 16, 2023:
Motor Vehicle Crash -
At approximately 12:16 AM, Deputies responded to the N7800 block of Gould Hill Rd., Town of York, for a single vehicle crash with possible injury. Investigation determined the operator, Jessi Brunner, 16, was traveling south on Gould Hill Rd. when a deer entered the roadway. Jessi swerved to avoid the deer and entered the ditch. The vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment. Jessi sustained minor, non-life-threatening injury, but denied EMS. Jessi and her passenger, Abigail Mellem, 16, were not wearing their seatbelts. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
