The following incident occurred on Friday, November 10, 2023:
OWI Arrest –
At approximately 11:49 PM, Deputies stopped to check on a vehicle with it’s hazards on in the N3600 block of State Highway 59. Investigation resulted in the operator, Shawn S. Francis, 30 of Monroe, being placed under arrest for Operating While Under the Influence of Alcohol – 1st Offense. Shawn was also cited for Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, Open Intoxicants, and Expired Registration. Shawn was released to a responsible party with a future court date.
