The following incidents occurred on Monday, October 30th, 2023:

Motor Vehicle Crash-Personal Injury:
At approximately 8:42 AM, Deputies responded to the N300 block of State Highway 69, Town of Clarno, for a single vehicle accident.
Investigations found that a vehicle operated by James Cavanaugh, 58, of Monroe, was southbound when deer entered the roadway. Cavanaugh’s vehicle struck one of the deer. As a result Cavanaugh’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Cavanaugh reported wearing his seatbelt, there was airbag deployment, and minor injury. Cavanaugh’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
