The following events occurred on October 26, 2023:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
PROBATION VIOLATION:
At 8:33 a.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe to assist Department of Corrections Agents. Investigation resulted in the arrest of David L. Webb, 31 of Monroe, for a Probation Violation. Webb was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 3:24 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2300 block of Spring Street, in the Town of Jefferson, for the report of a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Jason A. Rufer, 44 of Juda had stopped in the roadway. When a second vehicle, operated by Walter A. Wyman, 47 of Monroe attempted to back out of a parking stall when he collided with Rufer’s vehicle. Both operators advised of no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene. Investigation resulted with Wyman being cited for No Proof of Insurance. Wyman was released pending court.
