The following events occurred on September 28, 2023:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-INJURY:
At 6:27 a.m., Deputies along with New Glarus Fire Department and New Glarus EMS responded to the W5100 block of Exeter Crossing Road, in the Town of New Glarus for a single vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Justin P. Bowles, 38 of Monticello was traveling westbound when it collided with a downed tree in the roadway. Bowles sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Bowles reported wearing his seatbelt and the airbags did deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
