2022 Sheriff's Department Press Releases Posted on November 01, 2022

The following incidents occurred on Tuesday, November 01, 2022:

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH

At approximately 2:55 PM, Deputies along with Monticello Fire and New Glarus Area EMS, responded to the N7300 block of Marshall Bluff Rd, Town of Exeter, for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash. During the investigation it was found the driver, Neil D Dettwiler, 75, of Monticello, was southbound on Marshall Bluff Rd, when he reported falling asleep. Dettwiler's vehicle entered the east ditch where it struck a rock and overturned. Dettwiler advised no injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and there was airbag deployment. Dettwiler's vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
