All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incidents occurred on Tuesday October 11, 2022:
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At approximately 2:43 PM, Deputies responded to a two vehicle collision in the W8200 block of STH 81, in the Town of Jordan. The investigation revealed that Donald J. Von Arx, age 23 of rural Argyle, was traveling eastbound when his vehicle collided with the rear of another eastbound vehicle operated by Rick D. Robare, age 61 of Roscoe, IL. Donald reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries in the collision but refused treatment. Robare and his passenger, Tammy A. Guptill, age 64, reported wearing their seatbelts and sustained possible minor injuries in the collision but refused treatment at the scene. Robare's vehicle sustained functional damage to the rear end. Von Arx's vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front and towed from the scene. Von Arx was cited for following too closely and released pending a non-mandatory court appearance. | MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At approximately 3:52 PM, Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH S and Mill Street, Jefferson Township, for a two vehicle accident.
Investigation found that a vehicle operated by Todd A. Weber 45 of Rock City, was traveling south on CTH S. A second vehicle operated by Laurie A. Phillips 61 of Juda, was stopped at the stop sign facing east. As Weber's vehicle approached the intersection, Phillips vehicle pulled out in front of Weber. Weber attempted to avoid striking Phillips vehicle but was not able to stop in time. Weber advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Phillips advised she was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured. There was no airbag deployment in the vehicle. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene. Phillips was cited for Failure to Yield Right Way- Stop sign and released with a non-mandatory court date. |
| WARRANT ARREST
At approximately 4:09 PM Stephanie A. Husom, 31 of Monroe, turned herself into the sheriff's office on warrants issued by the Green County and Walworth County Circuit Courts. She was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
