All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following incidents occurred on Monday, October, 04, 2022:
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At approximately 4:06 AM, Deputies responded to the W4900 block of Town Center Rd., in the Town of Clarno, for a report of a vehicle crash. Upon deputies arrival there was no one around the car and it was impounded. During follow up investigation it was learned Sydney L. Curran, 21, of Juda was travelling westbound, when she attempted to turn around, and then entered the north ditch where she became stuck. Sydney was wearing her seatbelt at the time of incident and was uninjured. She called for a friend to pick her up. Sydney was cited for failure to notify police of an accident. She was released pending court. |

MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH
At approximately 7:56 AM, Deputies were notified of a two vehicle accident with no injuries in the W5900 block of State Highway 11, Town of Monroe. During the investigation it was learned a vehicle operated by Tara L. Cheatham, 40, of South Wayne, was stopped at the top of the exit ramp waiting to turn southbound on STH 69. A vehicle operated by Elina R. Thompson, 16, of Browntown, collided with the back of Cheatham's vehicle. Both driver's were wearing seatbelts and denied being injured. There was no airbag deployment. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Thompson was cited for following too close. She was released pending court. |
