Hwy 11 Resurfacing to begin Monday, April 19, 2021

Resurfacing begins Monday on WIS 11 in Green County


Resurfacing work begins Monday (April 19) on two sections of WIS 11 in Green County:

  • Nearly 10 miles of WIS 11 from west of Browntown to the Monroe city limits; and
  • 11 miles of WIS 11 from just east of Monroe to the Brodhead city limits.


Work will also include replacing beam guard in certain locations and adding centerline and shoulder rumble strips.


WIS 11 will remain open to traffic with flagging operations. Motorists should slow down and watch for crews and equipment working near the travel lanes.


The $6.7 million project is scheduled to be completed in late September 2021.
