The following events occurred on February 24, 2023:
All person’s arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 8: 14 p.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS and Browntown First response responded to the N500 block of County Highway M, in the Town of Cadiz for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Gabriel C. Quiahua, 19 of Warren was traveling northbound, when he lost control of his vehicle due to snowy road conditions. The vehicle then entered the south ditch and collided with an embankment. Quiahua reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Quiahua was cited for Operating Without a Valid License and was released pending court.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
At 10:44 p.m., Deputies responded to the W8600 block of County Highway Y, in the Town of Jordan for the report of a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Kenadie J. Woodruff, 17 of Browntown was traveling westbound and attempted to turn northbound onto County Highway M, when she lost control due to the snowy road conditions. Woodruff entered the west ditch and collided with an embankment. Woodruff reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained functional damage and was driven from the scene.
WARRANT ARREST:
At 11:56 p.m., Following an investigation in the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe, Deputies arrested Brett C. Blankenhorn, 31 of Freeport for a warrant through the Monroe Police Department. Blankenhorn was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
MOTOR VEHICLE CRASH-PROPERTY DAMAGE:
On 02/25/23 at 1:46 a.m., Deputies responded to the W8400 block of County Highway B, in the Town of Cadiz, for a single vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Victoria L. Loebach, 38 of Monroe was traveling westbound. Loebach reported attempting to brake and losing control of her vehicle due to snowy road conditions. Loebach then entered the north ditch and collided with an embankment. Loebach reported no injuries, was wearing her seatbelt, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
