Since the start of widespread vaccinations in the United States, the number of cases of common childhood illnesses like measles and diphtheria have declined dramatically. Immunizations have protected millions of kids from potentially deadly diseases and have saved thousands of lives.
Certain diseases are so rare now, that parents sometimes ask if vaccines are even necessary. The truth is, most diseases that can be prevented by vaccines still exist in the world, even in the United States. Vaccinations play a crucial role in keeping kids healthy. Unfortunately, misinformation about vaccines make some parents decide not to immunize their children, putting them and others at a greater risk for illness.
Childhood Immunizations (ages 0-18): A $5.00 donation per child is appreciated. Vaccines are eligible for children who are VFC (Vaccine for Children) eligible, uninsured, or underinsured. Patients with health insurance shall be directed to their primary care provider and some may be eligible to receive immunizations at pharmacies.
