Coordinated Services Teams (CST)
CST Initiatives develop a comprehensive, individualized system of care for children with complex behavioral health needs. The CST itself is a group that includes family members, service providers, and others that work to design and carry out a coordinated services plan for the child. This model of care is often referred to as wraparound. The result is a plan of care that addresses the needs of the child and family with community-based supports, which allows the child to live in their home and community and realize their hopes and dreams.
What is Wraparound?
This short animated video offers a general introduction to Wraparound for children, families and others who may be learning about it for the first time. It describes why this care coordination process was created, and how its team approach helps children and youth who experience serious mental health or behavioral challenges, and their families.

What are people saying about CST in Green County?
"As a therapist, I have found CST to be incredibly helpful in providing support to families. When there are multiple providers working with a family, Wraparound services can be critical in clarifying roles, identifying needs, working towards goals as a team, and streamlining the communication process. It is strength-based, which helps reframe services in a positive light and helps the team remain centered on the child and families progress. Collaboration with formal and informal supports also helps me to have a better understanding of how I can support the child and family across contexts (home, school, community, etc)." - Individual/Family Therapist
"I have been honored to be a part of CST since it's development in Green County. I was impressed with the dedication and hard work that went into the creating and sustaining of the program. I have also been involved in several teams as a school administrator. The teams have been an invaluable resource for not only the families, but also to the schools. We had one very difficult case that has many different layers of involvement. The CST Coordinators were amazing at getting all of the stakeholders together, keeping things organized and helping the families involved. Each team is different but the coordinators keep a consistent process and mission to the teams. They are very respectful of the families and other team members." - Principal/Special Education Director

"This is a personal testimony to my experience with the Wraparound Program for Green County as a teacher of students with disabilities. I have worked with the Wraparound Program for the past two school years. The Wraparound Program in Green County has been a great facilitator of collaborative meetings with key stakeholders for students with special needs. Wraparound provides my families with monthly meetings to allow concerns to be voiced, develop plans and goals for individual student needs and connect families to resources. In addition, the Wraparound Program has worked diligently to connect parents with mental health services and support them in communicating with medical personnel. Many of my families contact the Coordinator directly when emergencies occur with their child. The Coordinator has been there to listen and support them in their time of need and helps establish last minute meetings. The comfort Wraparound Program provides my school families is greatly needed and appreciated. The Wraparound Program services allows families to feel supported and not alone. I am truly grateful for all the support the program has given my students." - Special Education Teacher
