Recreational Trail Patrol: Deputies certified for ATV operation will periodically patrol the Tri-County Recreational Trail.
Care Trak specializes in tracking individuals at risk for wandering, such as adults suffering from Alzheimer's disease or other dementia, or kids with special needs including autism, Down Syndrome, brain injuries or other conditions. A drug collection box is located in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office located at 2827 6th Street. It is available to the public for the purpose of disposing of unwanted or expired personal medications. You may do so anonymously at any time, and any day of the week.
We ask that no sharps, syringes, or infectious waste be deposited in the container.

The Sheriff's Office has deputies certified for snowmobile operation and coordinates its patrol efforts with the County Department of Natural Resources Warden for patrol of County recreational trails.
